Abstract:
A freezing apparatus 1 is provided with: a sealed freezing chamber 11; an air circulating unit 20 which includes an air cooling heat exchanger 22 and causes the air in the freezing chamber 11 to be circulated between the freezing chamber 11 and the cooling heat exchanger 22 in order to freeze an object to be frozen in the freezing chamber 11; and a pressure control unit 30 which, during freezing by means of the air circulating unit 20, maintains the pressure of the freezing chamber 11 at a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure.
