Abstract:
Provided are a frequency hopping method and apparatus, said method comprising: a first communications apparatus receiving first information from a second communications apparatus, said first information indicating a first frequency hopping resource. The first communications apparatus determines, from the first frequency hopping resource, n frequency-domain resource units corresponding to a k-th time resource unit; the n frequency-domain resource units correspond one-to-one to n logical resource units, the frequency hopping patterns of the n logical resource units are the same, n is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2, and k is a positive integer. On the k-th time resource unit and the n frequency-domain resource units, the first communications apparatus receives data from the second communications apparatus or sends data to the second communications apparatus. Therefore it is possible to enable a terminal device having a radio frequency receiving range smaller than the system bandwidth to perform frequency hopping while satisfying service rate requirements.
