Abstract:
The present invention provides a hybrid wave computer for calculating an input original signal into frequency information, the hybrid wave computer comprising: an input module which delivers, in the form of acoustic waves, an original signal including multi-band frequencies onto a substrate having a piezoelectric element disposed thereon, so as to separate the frequencies of the original signal by detecting oscillations of the piezoelectric element according to positions; a calculation module which receives the separated frequencies of the original signal from the input module, and comprises at least one vibration amplifier or attenuator for amplifying or attenuating waves according to frequency bands, so as to calculate the input original signal in the frequency domain; and a storage module for storing, as digital information, binarized frequency information obtained by the calculation module, whereby the original signal is interfaced in the form of waves. According to the present invention, the input module separates an analog signal into frequency domain signals according to frequency bands, using the attenuation characteristics of surface acoustic waves, and calculation required for interfacing is performed using the frequency domain signals as an input value, so that information is calculated in the frequency domain without a separate Fourier transform procedure. Also, since the storage module digitally stores separate pieces of signal information according to frequency bands, an algorithm such as an artificial neural network can be associated therewith.
