Abstract:
A frequency modulation oscillation source (100) comprises: a voltage-controlled oscillator (5) in which oscillation frequency is controlled on the basis of a modulation control voltage generated by integrating a comparison result signal (62) corresponding to the phase difference between a reference signal (61) and a division signal (68), and a frequency compensation voltage set on the basis of the modulation control voltage and the frequency division number of the division signal (68); and a frequency compensation control unit (30) for moving an operating point of the voltage-controlled oscillator (5) on the basis of the frequency compensating voltage and controlling the frequency compensating voltage so that the modulation sensitivity at the operating point becomes a value within a target range.
