Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of optical communications, in particular to a frequency offset processing method and frequency offset processing apparatus for a wavelength selective switch (WSS). The frequency offset processing method comprises: determining a frequency offset drift amount of each channel in one or more channels of the WSS, here, the frequency offset drift amount of any channel in the one or more channels being used to indicate the degree of difference between the frequency offset of the any channel at a first time and the frequency offset of the any channel at a second time; and performing frequency offset compensation on each channel according to the frequency offset drift amount of each channel. By adoption of the frequency offset processing method provided by the present application, the frequency offset compensation precision of the channels of the WSS can be improved, and the performance stability of the WSS can be ensured.
