Abstract:
 This friction brake device (10) includes: a brake rotor (12) having a main rotor (20) and a sub rotor (22), which respectively serve as first and second disc parts, are disposed at an interval from one another along a rotation axis (18), and extend over the entire circumference around the rotation axis, and a cylindrical part (20B) that serves as a connection part for integrally connecting the outer circumferential parts of the main rotor (20) and the sub rotor (22); friction members (34A, 34B) that are disposed between the main rotor (20) and the sub rotor (22); and first and second pressing devices (60A, 60B) that are supported between the main rotor (20) and the sub rotor (22) by a stationary member (38), which serves as a non-rotating member, and respectively press the friction members (34A, 34B) against the main rotor (20) and the sub rotor (22).
