Abstract:
This friction brake device (10) is provided with: a brake rotor (12) having a main rotor (20) and a subrotor (22) which are spaced from each other along a rotation axis (18) and which extend over the entire circumference around the rotation axis, and a cylindrical portion (20B) which is integrally connected to the outer periphery of the main rotor (20) and subrotor (22); a first and second friction member (14 and 16) which are supported between the main rotor (20) and the subrotor (22) by a static member (28) so as to allow relative displacement along the rotation axis (18), and which extend annularly around the rotation axis; and pressing devices (34 and 46) which press the friction members (14 and 16) against the rotors (20 and 22).
