Abstract:
The present invention relates to a calender apparatus that passes fabric through a plurality of rollers and awards gloss by friction with the rollers, and more specifically provides a calender apparatus for fiber comprising a steel heater roller that is driven by a first motor, a steel backup roller that is driven by a second motor, a resin roller that is located between said steel heater roller and steel backup roller but guided and driven by said steel backup roller, a first inverter and second inverter that respectively transmit drive signals to said first motor and second motor, and a controller part that individually controls said first inverter and second inverter, wherein the frictional force between the roller and fabric is greatly increased by the steel heater roller and resin roller that are connected to separate motors and respectively driven at different speeds so that the gloss and water resistance properties of fabric may be greatly enhanced.
