Abstract:
[Problem] To always be capable of obtaining excellent operability by preventing a sticking phenomenon with respect to an elastic body generated by frictional force, and also to facilitate obtaining an exceptional click sense when incorporating a clicking means, in a friction device having two members that can be relatively displaced and a friction mechanism for maintaining the relative position of both members using frictional force interposed between both members. [Solution] A friction mechanism (3) interposed between a dial (1) and housing (2) has: an elastic body (3) such as an O-ring, etc., installed on the dial (1); and a rolling element 35 such as a roller, etc., supported so as to rotate freely on the housing (2), the rolling element 35 rolling on the elastic body (3).
