Abstract:
Disclosed are a friction drive apparatus, a cross-belt sorting machine and a cross-belt sorting system. The friction drive apparatus comprises at least one pair of driving wheels (1, 2) keeping a tiny gap therebetween with the axes thereof being parallel to each other; two of said driving wheels (1, 2) are rotatably arranged on a mounting plate (4) and are driven to rotate by a same motor (5), the rotation directions of the two driving wheels are opposite to each other. The apparatus has delicate design and simple structure, and the arrangement of a special belt drive mechanism enables one motor to drive two driving wheels to rotate. Compared with the existing friction drive structure, the apparatus leaves out a motor, thereby greatly reducing the equipment cost, ensuring lower energy consumption, and reducing the maintenance and replacement cost of the drive structure.
