Abstract:
A friction pad assembly capable of realizing a reduction in cost and an improvement
in productivity by moderating the machining accuracy of parts used and reducing
the number of the parts. Each of lining assemblies (13) arranged on a guide plate
(11) includes a plate fitting part (22a) the outer peripheral surface of which
is rotatably fitted into a guide hole part (11a) formed in the guide plate (11)
and a loose-prevention flange part (22b) having an outer diameter larger than
that of the guide hole part (11a), on a rear plate part (22) fixed to the rear surface
of a friction material (21). A plate spring (24) fitted to the plate fitting part
(22a) is so arranged as to be held between the guide plate (11) and the loose-prevention
flange part (22b).
