Abstract:
A friction stir welding device (10A) is provided with: a rotating tool (11) capable of being inserted into one internal corner portion (33a) among a pair of internal corner portions (33a, 33b) positioned on either side of a second object to be joined (32), in an abutting portion (33) in which the second object to be joined (32) is caused to abut a first object to be joined (31) so as to stand upright; an internal corner pressing unit (20) which presses the other internal corner portion (33b); and a movement mechanism (15) which moves the rotating tool (11) and the internal corner pressing unit (20) in the direction in which the abutting portion (33) extends. The internal corner pressing unit (20) includes a pressing roller (21) which presses the other internal corner portion (33b) while rolling, in a state of being caused to move by the movement mechanism (15).
