Abstract:
This front fork (F) is provided with: a wheel-side bracket (20) for closing the other end of an inner tube (2) which is movably inserted, with one end thereof first, into an outer tube (1); a cylinder (3) provided within the inner tube (2); and a head member (6) fitted to the side of the cylinder (3) which is opposite the wheel-side bracket. The cylinder (3) and the head member (6) are gripped while being subjected to axial forces applied by a crimping section (2a) formed on the inner tube (2) and by the wheel-side bracket (20).
