Abstract:
A front fork (FA) is provided with a tubular cylinder (1), a rod (2) inserted into the cylinder (1), a base valve (3) held at one axial end of the rod (2), a flange (22c) provided to the other axial end of the rod (2), and an axle bracket (4) having a tubular tube part (4a) and a support part (2b) projecting toward the center from the inner periphery of the tube part (4a). The cylinder (1) is threadably fastened to the inner periphery of the tube part (4a), and the base valve (3) is secured to the cylinder (1) with the flange (22c) clamped between one end of the cylinder (1) and the support part (4b).
