Abstract:

This front fork (F) is configured such that: the damper (5) of one fork leg (2) has a cylinder (50) which is connected to a vehicle body-side outer tube (40), a piston rod (51) which is connected to an axle-side inner tube (41), and a piston valve (52) which is mounted to the piston rod (51) and which is movably inserted in the cylinder (50); a variable throttle (7) for regulating extension-side damping force is provided within the piston rod (51); a stroke sensor (8) has an element (81) to be detected which is mounted to the cylinder (50), and a detection section (80) which is mounted to the piston rod (51) and which detects the displacement of the element (81) to be detected; and a variable throttle (9) for regulating pressure-side damping force is mounted to the vehicle body-side outer tube (40) of the other fork leg (3).
