Abstract:

A front panel board for plasma display which has at least one transparent resin plate and a conductive mesh laminated upon the resin plate, with part of the conductive mesh being exposed in a planar form from at least one side of the peripheral section of the surface of the board. At least one surface of the board may be undulated and an intermediate synthetic resin plate may be interposed between the conductive mesh and the resin plate. In addition, a decorative section may be provided between the intermediate synthetic resin plate and the transparent resin plate. Moreover, the board may have a conductive film in contact with the conductive mesh in a planar format at least one side of the periphery of the surface of the board. This board can stably exhibit a high electromagnetic wave shielding performance and can display pictures which are sufficiently easy to see on the screen.
