Abstract:
The disclosed front release buckle (1) is provided with a plug (10) and a socket (20) into which said plug (10) is inserted and engaged. Said plug (10) comprises a base (11), an extension (12) that protrudes from said base (11), and an engaging part (14) that is formed in said extension (12). Said socket (20) comprises a main body (21) with an insertion opening (22), an accommodating space (23) that is formed inside said main body (21) and can accommodate said extension (12) when it has been inserted from said insertion opening (22), an engagement part (24) that is formed in said main body (21) and with which the engaging part (14) can engage, and a manipulating part (27A) for releasing the engagement of the engaging part (14) with the engagement part (24). Said plug (10) and said socket (20) are flat. Said extension (12) is flexible in the planar and thickness directions. The engaging part (14) and the engagement part (24) engage in the direction of thickness. The engaging part (14) protrudes in the width direction of said extension (12) and is no thicker than said extension (12).
