Abstract:
A suspension member (14) is linked to a front mounting unit (48) and a rear mounting unit (50) of a front side member (12). A stabilizer bracket (20) is fixed in the section of the front side member (12) between the front end section (12D) and the front mounting unit (48). A reinforcing member (22), which protrudes outwards in the vehicle width direction from the front end (12D), is joined to the side wall part of the front end section (12D) that is outwards in the vehicle width direction. The reinforcing member (22) makes the yield strength of the front side member (12) in the vehicle longitudinal direction higher in the front end section (12D) than in the section between the front mounting unit (48) and the rear mounting unit (50).
