Abstract:
An FRP tubular body according to the present invention includes a cylindrical fiber structure formed by winding a woven reinforcing fiber sheet. The reinforcing fiber sheet includes a first reinforcing fiber bundle arranged such that the main thread axis direction extends in a circumferential direction of the fiber structure, and a second reinforcing fiber bundle arranged such that the main thread axis direction extends in the axial direction of the fiber structure. The reinforcing fiber sheet has a starting end, a terminal end, and a general section between the starting end and the terminal end. The general section has the first reinforcing fiber bundle and the second reinforcing fiber bundle. At least one of the starting end and the terminal end is a reduced section in which the amount of the reinforcing fibers per unit length in the circumferential direction of the fiber structure is smaller than that in the general section.
