Abstract:
Disclosed are a frequency shift keying (FSK) signal modulation/demodulation method and device capable of overcoming the trade-off relationship between a modulation index and spectral efficiency. An FSK signal modulation/demodulation device comprises: a channel selection-modulator for determining a frequency channel to be used and modulating an FSK signal; a phase-locked loop for generating a desired output frequency (fout) with respect to a reference frequency (fREF) by adjusting a frequency division ratio (N+n) for the frequency of the modulated FSK signal; and an output unit, which amplifies the FSK signal having the generated output frequency (fout) so as to radiate same through an antenna, wherein each of the frequency channels is divided into two or more tones, and another frequency channel is allocated between the tones, which are divided into two or more tones.
