Abstract:

Provided are fucoidan, a preparation method therefor, and uses thereof. The molecular weight of the fucoidan is 100 kDa to 300 kDa, and the fucoidan mainly comprises mannose, fucose and other monosaccharide units. Also provided are a fucoidan preparation method and uses of the fucoidan. Experiments show that fucoidan can remarkably improve space memory capabilities of mammals and can be used for preventing and/or treating neurodegenerative diseases.
