Abstract:

The present invention is: a cleaner/friction modifier having both a cleaning property for improving/preventing deterioration over time due to debris inside an engine and a friction-reducing effect for reducing frictional resistance inside the engine; a fuel additive that improves drivability in a balanced manner over the entire range of engine rotation rates, provides the engine characteristic that engine brake characteristics give a strong feeling of coasting over the entire traveling speed range, is able to obtain fuel efficiency-improving effects more than test bench numerical values in an actual car, and also is provided with storage stability; and a fuel composition comprising same. The present invention is characterized in comprising a polyetheramine carboxylic acid salt. No more than 0.5 weight% of this fuel additive is added to fuel.
