Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fuel cell-based life jacket capable of storing hydrogen fuel, and provides a fuel cell-based life jacket utilizing electricity, heat, and water produced during operation of a fuel cell, as a means for life extension and a power supply for a distress signal system. The present invention comprises: a fuel cell part for supplying electricity; a hydrogen fuel supply apparatus for storing and supplying hydrogen fuel required for the electricity generation of the fuel cell part; a signal output means for transmitting a signal by using power generated in the fuel cell part; and a heat emitting part for collecting heat generated in the fuel cell part and transferring the collected heat, wherein the hydrogen fuel supply apparatus generates hydrogen by using a hydrogen generating composition. According to the present invention, it is possible to supply heat for maintaining a body temperature for a long time, supply water, and transmit various distress signals.
