Abstract:
Provided is a fuel cell device that corresponds to a first slave device from among a plurality of fuel cell devices including a master device and slave devices that include the first slave device and a second slave device, wherein: the first slave device is provided with a cell stack, a communication unit, and a control unit; the communication unit is connected to the master device and the second slave device so that communication is possible; the control unit controls the cell stack on the basis of control information acquired from the master device; and upon sensing that the master device has lost functionality, the control unit transmits, from the communication unit to the second slave device, a master candidacy message that indicates the proxying of the functionality of the master device.
