Abstract:
Provided is a fuel cell module with which significant miniaturization is possible while retaining high efficiency. In order to achieve the foregoing, a cell stack (10) and a reformer (20), an evaporator (30), and a heat exchanger (40), which are cell stack accessories, are housed together inside a casing (50). The reformer (20) and the evaporator (30) are placed side by side, as an independent vertical shape, alongside the cell stack in the depth direction and are heated by the incineration waste gas that is the off gas emitted from the cell stack (10). In order to carry out this heating, the reformer (20) and the evaporator (30) each have a waste gas flow path through which the incineration waste gas passes longitudinally. The waste gas flow path of the reformer (20) and that of the evaporator (30) are connected in-series by a connecting pipe (60) on the ascending side. The heat exchanger (40) is arranged on the descending side of the reformer (20) and the evaporator (30) by being inserted into a concave part that is formed by thinning a heat insulating material (51) disposed along the inside surface of the base plate of the casing (50).
