Abstract:
A fuel cell system control method for a fuel cell system provided with: a solid state oxide-type fuel cell which generates power by being supplied with an anode gas and a cathode gas; a fuel processor which generates the anode gas by at least reforming a fuel, and which supplies the generated anode gas to the fuel cell; and a combustor which combusts the supplied fuel to warm the fuel processor. The fuel cell system is controlled at least when the warming is performed at the starting-up of the system. The fuel cell system control method comprises: a cathode gas supply step of supplying cathode gas to the fuel processor; a determining step of determining whether the temperature of gas passing through the fuel processor is higher than a temperature at which reforming is possible; a cathode gas decreasing step of decreasing the amount of cathode gas supplied to the fuel processor if it is determined that the temperature of the gas is higher than the temperature at which reforming is possible; and a fuel supply step of supplying the fuel to the fuel processor.
