Provided is a power generation system (310) comprising: a fuel cell (313); a second fuel gas supply line (341) for supplying fuel gas to a fuel electrode (109); a first combustor (322) that combusts exhaust fuel gas (L3); an exhaust fuel gas supply line (345) for supplying the exhaust fuel gas (L3) to the first combustor (322); a turbine (323) to which combustion gas is supplied; a combustion gas supply line (328) for supplying the combustion gas from the first combustor (322) to the turbine (323); a combustion exhaust gas line (329) for discharging combustion gas that has passed through the turbine (323); a bypass line (391) for guiding the exhaust fuel gas (L3) from the exhaust fuel gas supply line (345) to the combustion exhaust gas line (329); and a bypass control valve (392) disposed in the bypass line (391).
