Abstract:
A fuel cell system according to the present invention is provided with: a solid oxide fuel cell, to which a reformed gas and an oxidant gas are supplied, and which is capable of generating power; an oxidant gas supply device which supplies the oxidant gas to the fuel cell; a reforming unit which supplies the reformed gas to the fuel cell; a fuel supply device which supplies a fuel to the reforming unit, said fuel serving as a starting material for the reformed gas; and a combustion unit which combusts the exhaust gas of the fuel cell. The reforming unit is capable of reforming the fuel into the reformed gas by performing heat exchange with a combustion gas generated by the combustion unit; and this fuel cell system is provided with a first control unit which controls the fuel supply device so that the fuel is additionally supplied to the fuel cell through the reforming unit for the purpose of preventing the oxidant gas from flowing into the fuel cell from the downstream of a fuel electrode during a system stop. This fuel cell system is also provided with a second control unit which supplies the fuel to the reforming unit before the above-described additional supply of the fuel so that the temperature of the reformed gas flowing into the fuel cell during the system stop does not exceed the predetermined temperature.
