Abstract:
Provided is a fuel cell system which is capable of further enhancing the power generation efficiency of a fuel cell SOFC that generates electric power by supplying a reformed gas to a fuel electrode in comparison to conventional ones, said reformed gas being obtained by means of steam reforming. This fuel cell system is provided with: a steam reformer (1) which reforms a hydrocarbon fuel by a steam reforming reaction; a fuel cell (101) which is operated by supplying a reformed gas to a fuel electrode (s2); and an anode off gas circulation path (8) which cools an anode off gas (g3a) and supplies the anode off gas to the steam reformer (1), while removing condensed water. This fuel cell system controls the condensation temperature in a condensation means (13) by means of a control means (C) that controls the water vapor partial pressure of the anode off gas (g3a) to be circulated to the steam reformer (1), thereby having S/C adjustment correspond to high efficiency power generation.
