Abstract:
The disclosed fuel cell system is provided with: a reformer that generates reformed gas containing hydrogen by means of reforming starting fuel and water using a reforming catalyst; a fuel cell that generates electricity in a cell unit using the reformed gas; a starting fuel introduction unit that introduces the starting fuel to the reforming catalyst; an unreformed gas generation information acquisition unit that acquires information on unreformed gas generation at the reforming catalyst; and a control unit that performs introduced-quantity reduction control of the starting fuel introduction unit, reducing the quantity of introduced starting fuel, on the basis of the information on unreformed gas generation acquired by the unreformed gas generation information acquisition unit.
