Abstract:
A shutoff valve (40) provided on the entrance side and exit side of a fuel cell system
has a diaphragm (42). A valve closing-side pressure chamber (43) is provided
on the upper face side of the diaphragm (42), and a valve opening-side pressure
chamber (44) is provided on the lower face side of the diaphragm (42). With the
valve closing-side pressure chamber (43) of the shutoff valve (40) pressurized,
the pressure in the chamber (43) is maintained by ViS, ViC, and ViO in an electrically
non-conducted state. Also, the pressure in the valve opening-side pressure
chamber (44) of the shutoff valve (40) is maintained released. By this, force
acting in the direction of closing a valve body (41) acts on it through the diaphragm
(42), maintaining the shutoff valve (40) closed.
