Abstract:
A fuel cell system comprising: a fuel cell which receives a supply of fuel and air to generate power; a combustion unit which combusts off-gas extracted from the fuel cell to generate combustion exhaust gas; a fuel heating part which, by means of the combustion exhaust gas, heats the fuel supplied to the fuel cell; an air heating part which, by means of the combustion exhaust gas, heats the air supplied to the fuel cell; an anode-side flow branching passage which branches the flow of the combustion exhaust gas to the fuel heating part; a cathode-side flow branching passage which branches the flow of the combustion exhaust gas to the air heating part; and an exhaust gas flow branching ratio adjustment part which adjusts the exhaust gas flow branching ratio, which is the ratio of the anode-side combustion exhaust gas flow rate, namely the flow rate of the combustion exhaust gas flowing in the anode-side flow branching passage, to the cathode-side combustion exhaust gas flow rate, namely the flow rate of the combustion exhaust gas flowing in the cathode-side flow branching passage, wherein the exhaust gas flow branching ratio adjustment part is configured so as to reduce the exhaust gas flow branching ratio depending on an increase in the air supply flow rate, namely the flow rate of air supplied to the fuel cell.
