Abstract:
This fuel cell vehicle control method is to be executed in a fuel cell vehicle comprising: a fuel cell; an air-supply device supplying air to the fuel cell; a drive motor driving the fuel cell vehicle using electrical power from the fuel cell; and a transmission provided in a drive train path between the drive motor and drive wheels. The fuel cell vehicle control method comprises step of: changing the output electrical current according to a requested electrical power to be generated by the fuel cell; and adjusting the air-supply flow-rate from the air-supply device according to the change in the output electrical current. In the fuel cell vehicle control method, when gear-shifting by the transmission is in the inertia phase of up-shifting, the output electrical current is decreased according to the decrease in the requested electrical power to be generated by the fuel cell, and the air-supply flow-rate is controlled so as to reach an inertia phase supply flow-rate that is greater than the air-supply flow-rate adapted to the decrease in the output electrical current.
