A fuel cell characterized by comprising: a membrane electrode assembly which comprises an electrolyte membrane, first and second anodes which are arranged apart from each other on one surface of the electrolyte membrane, a first cathode arranged on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane and facing the first anode, and a second anode arranged apart from the first anode on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane and facing the second anode; a fuel supply mechanism which is arranged on a first-and-second-anodes-formed side of the membrane electrode assembly and can supply a fuel to the first and second anodes; and a cover member which is arranged on a first-and-second-cathodes-formed side of the membrane electrode assembly, wherein oxidizing agent flow paths are formed separately above the first and second cathodes on a surface of the cover member which faces the first-and-second-cathodes-formed side of the membrane electrode assembly.
