Abstract:
In the present invention, viewed from the direction of thickness of a polymer electrolyte film (11), an adhesion region (E1) in which separators (30, 40) and a framework (20) adhere is disposed outside an outer rim portion (14a) of a gas diffusion layer (14) but inside an inner rim portion of a gasket (21). With this configuration, it is possible to suppress an increase in production costs and to suppress the reduction in electricity-generating performance that occurs when impurities that elute from the gasket flow to the gas diffusion layer side.
