Title:
FUEL CELL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/006943
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A fuel cell (10) is provided with a fuel electrode (20), an air electrode (50), and a solid electrolyte layer (30) disposed between the fuel electrode (20) and the air electrode (50). The air electrode (50) contains as a main component a Perovskite-type oxide including La and Sr at the A site, the Perovskite-type oxide being expressed by general formula ABO3. The air electrode (50) has a first surface (50S) on the opposite side from the solid electrolyte layer (30). A first ratio (R1) of the Sr concentration to the La concentration detected using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis on the first surface (50S) is no more than four times a second ratio (R2) of the Sr concentration to the La concentration detected using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis on an exposed surface (51S) that was exposed by performing a surface treatment on the first surface (50S). The exposed surface (51S) is in a position within 5 nm of the first surface (50S) in the thickness direction.
