Abstract:
This fuel fill opening structure for a fuel tank is provided with a fuel fill pipe (11), a fuel fill opening (13), and a float guide (20). The float guide (20) is provided with: a main guide wall (24) for dividing a fuel introduction region (19) within the fuel fill pipe (11) into an upper space (22) in communication with the tank body side, and into a lower space (23) in communication with the fuel fill opening (13) side; and a partition wall (26) interconnected with the main guide wall (24) and closing the gap between the upper surface side of the main guide wall (24) and the inner surface of the fuel fill pipe (11). The main guide wall (24) has a curved sloped section (27) curved and sloped downward from a portion along the length of the main guide wall (24) from the fuel fill opening (13) side to the tank body side. The curved sloped section (27) is shaped so as to narrow in width in a plan view as the curved sloped section (27) extends downward in a sloped position.
