Abstract:
Disclosed is a fuel filler port device that is of a fuel tank for a straddled vehicle and that can utilize the upper space of the fuel tank, increasing the amount of stored fuel, without leading to an increase in size of a fuel filler guide tube. The fuel filler port device (60) of a fuel tank for a straddled vehicle is provided with: a fuel filler guide tube (61) that extends from the fuel filler port (53) provided to the upper wall of the fuel tank (16) to the interior of the fuel tank (16), and that guides to the interior of the aforementioned fuel tank (16) the nozzle (N) of a fuel gun inserted from the fuel filler port (53); and a flame arrester (62) that is disposed at the bottom of the fuel filler guide tube (61), permits the flow-through of fuel to the interior of the fuel tank (16), and allows the discharge of air that is within the fuel tank (16); and the flame arrester (62) is provided in a manner allowing the nozzle (N) of the fuel gun inserted from the fuel filler port (53) to be inserted lower than the upper end of the flame arrester (62).
