Abstract:
The present invention is configured to facilitate replacement of a filter material and enables enhancement of oil-water separation performance. This fuel filter comprises: a housing that includes a filter case which has a substantially cylindrical shape and which has opening at one end and which is covered at another end, and a head provided on the filter case so as to cover the opening; and a filter element that is provided in an internal space of the housing and that is attachable/detachable to/from the housing. The filter element includes: a first filter including a cylindrical first filter part formed by bending a sheet-like filter material in a pleated shape; a second filter provided on an inner side of the first filter part; and a first plate on which the first filter and the second filter are provided. The second filter includes: a second filter part formed in a cylindrical shape by connecting both ends of a mesh-like thin plate; a first end part that covers a first end of the second filter part; and a second end part that covers a second end of the second filter part on the side opposite from the first end. The first plate is provided on the head and has a first through-hole formed in the center thereof. The first end part is provided on the first plate and has formed therein a second through-hole that connects a hollow section of the second filter part and the first through-hole. The first plate and the first end part are attachable/detachable to/from each other.
