Abstract:
A fuel gasification system that allows particles of solid fuels to be fully brought into contact with fluid media without splashing, as well as that enables reliable completion of thermal decomposition of the solid fuels, improvement of cold gas efficiency, enhancement of C conversion ratio and H conversion ratio, and reformulation of tar contained in gasification gas. The fuel gasification system has a structure wherein a fuel feed pipe (14) is connected at a position lower than the top surface of a fluid layer (1) at the lateral side of a gasifying furnace (2), and the solid fuels are supplied from the fuel feed pipe (14) into the fluid layer (1). Further, the fuel gasification system is provided with an interflow acceleration means (15) that makes the solid fuels supplied from the fuel feed pipe (14) into the fluid layer (1) join in a flow of the fluid media supplied from a downcomer (7) to the bottom within the fluid layer (1).
