Abstract:
In the fuel injection control device and fuel injection control method according to the present invention, when an open period of an intake valve and an open period of an exhaust valve overlap, fuel injection is performed by a fuel injection device with a closed time of the exhaust valve set to the same time as an injection start time and a timing at which the deceleration rate of intake flow speed reaches maximum set to an injection end time, thereby improving homogeneity of an air-fuel mixture in a cylinder while minimizing the adhesion of fuel on the inner walls of an intake port and also minimizing the blowing of fuel out into an exhaust passage.
