Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuel injection device (10) for the direct injection engine of an automobile, comprising at least one direct injector (20) for spraying said fuel in a combustion chamber of said engine, and at least one ignition means (75) for burning the fuel sprayed in said combustion chamber. The fuel injection device further includes means for electrifying the fuel, said electrified fuel being sprayed in said combustion chamber upon passing through at least one injection opening (68) of said at least direct injector (20), the means for electrifying said fuel and said at least one ignition means (75) for burning said sprayed fuel being integrated in said at least one direct injector (20).
