Abstract:
A fuel injection device injects fuel from an injection hole (44), the fuel being supplied to the combustion chamber (22) of an internal combustion engine (20). The fuel injection device is provided with: a valve body (41, 141) having formed therein a fuel passage (55) through which fuel flows to the injection hole, and seat section (45, 145) which faces the fuel passage; a valve member (60) moving within the valve body in the axial direction of the valve body and opening and closing the injection hole by seating on and separating from the seat section; a delimitation member (56) located on the opposite side of the valve member from the injection hole and delimiting a pressure control chamber (53) for controlling, on the basis of the pressure of fuel introduced therein, the movement of the valve member; and an outer peripheral member (80, 180) surrounding the outer peripheral side of the delimitation member and forming the fuel passage together with the valve body.
