Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection device configured so as to improve fuel sealability when a valve is closed. This fuel injection device therefore comprises: a valve body that opens and closes a fuel flow channel; a moveable iron core that has formed therein a fuel passage hole communicating with the upstream side and the downstream side, and that causes the valve body to drive towards the upstream side; a bias spring, one end of which comes into contact with the moveable iron core and biases the moveable iron core in the open-valve direction; and a restriction unit that restricts the movement of said one end of the bias spring. The device is characterised in that the minimum distance between said one end of the bias spring and the fuel passage hole is greater than the radial-direction movement distance of said one end, which is the distance by which said one end moves in the radial direction until restricted by the restriction unit.
