This fuel injection valve control device (1) controls a fuel injection valve (10) for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber (110), and is provided with an operating condition calculation unit (241) which calculates a fuel injection condition of the fuel injection valve (10) on the basis of the crank angle detected by a crank angle sensor (22) for detecting the crank angle of the engine (11), and a current waveform configuration unit (242) which configures the current waveform of the current supplied to the fuel injection valve (10) on the basis of the fuel injection conditions calculated by the operating condition calculation unit (241). In the current waveform configuration unit (242), if the fuel injection start time is greater than or equal to 180° BTDC, then the current waveform is configured such that the time change of the pickup current of a needle of the fuel injection valve (10) set to less than or equal to a prescribed reference value. Further, if the fuel injection start time is less than 180° BTDC, then the current waveform is configured such that the time change of the pickup current of the needle becomes greater than the prescribed reference value.
