Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), especially an injection valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines. The fuel injection valve comprises a magnet coil (2) and an armature (7) which is actuated in a closing direction by a first restoring spring (8). The fuel injection valve also comprises a valve needle (10) which is connected in a non-positive manner to said armature (7) and which is provided for actuating a valve closing body (11) that, together with a valve seat surface (12), forms a sealing seat. The fuel injection valve (1) can be switched into a first switching position having a first opening cross-section by subjecting the magnetic coil (2) to a first holding current strength and can be switched into a second switching position having a second opening cross-section by subjecting the magnetic coil (2) to a second holding current strength.
