Abstract:
A fuel injection valve (1) comprises elements such as: a housing having an injection hole and a valve seat; a needle (40) having a flange (43) on the outside radially of the needle (40) and moving away from or coming into contact with the valve seat to open or close the injection hole; a movable core (50) provided on the valve seat side of the flange (43) so as to be movable relative to the needle (40); a first spring (281) for pressing the needle (40) toward the valve seat; a second spring (282) for pressing the movable core (50) in the direction opposite the valve seat by pressing force smaller than that of the first spring (281); and a restriction member (35) provided on the outside radially of the needle (40) so that the movable core can move on the valve seat side of the flange, between the restriction member (35) and the flange. The restriction member (35) has an outer protrusion (38) for supporting the other end of the second spring (282) and has a cylindrical section (36) and an inner protrusion (37), which are capable of coming into contact with the valve seat side of the movable core (50).
