Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection valve having a sensor mounting structure configured so that the deformation of a nozzle is reduced to prevent a reduction in the performance (such as flow rate performance and oil-tightness performance). This fuel injection valve is provided with: a fuel supply opening 112a provided in a base end section; a fuel injection hole 102a provided in a front end section; a nozzle 104 having a valve seat and the fuel injection hole 102a, which are provided at the front end section-side end of the nozzle 104, which is extended in the direction of a center axis 100a; a valve body 101 provided inside the nozzle 104 so as to be capable of coming into contact with and moving away from the valve seat; a sensor 120 provided to the outer periphery of the front end section-side end of the nozzle 104; and a holding member 122 provided on the base end section side relative to the sensor 120 at a position on the outer peripheral side of the nozzle 104 and having the sensor 120 affixed to the front end section-side end of the holding member 122. The holding member 122 has, on the base end section-side end thereof, a plastically deformable section 122a engaged with the outer periphery of the nozzle 104.
