Abstract:
A fuel injection valve equipped with a valve seat (15b) and a valve body (27c), a valve seat member (15) in which the valve seat (15b) is formed, and a tubular body (5) in which the valve seat member (15) is incorporated, wherein the valve seat member (15) is equipped with a side wall section (15w), and the side wall section (15w) is equipped with a stepped surface (15s). A welded portion of the valve seat member (15) and the tubular body (5) is provided at a base-end side with respect to the stepped surface (15s). The valve seat member (15) is incorporated in a press-fitted manner in the tubular body (5) such that the tip-end contact pressure between the inner circumferential surface of the tubular body (5) and the tip-end outer circumferential surface of the valve seat member (15) on the tip-end side of the stepped surface (15s) is less than the base-end contact pressure between the inner circumferential surface of the tubular body (5) and base-end outer circumferential surface of the valve seat member (15) on the base-end side of the stepped surface (15s).
