Abstract:
A fuel injection valve provided with: a coil (70) for generating magnetic flux by electrical energization; a fixed core (50) for forming a magnetic flux path for producing magnetic force; a movable structure (M, M1, M2) comprising a movable core (40) moved by the magnetic force and a valve body (30) driven by the movable core to open and close an ejection hole (23a), the movable structure being internally formed with a movable flow passageway (F20) forming a part of a flow passageway; and a body (B) which contains a movable structure in a moveable state and in which a part of the flow passageway is formed. The movable structure includes a constricted portion (32a) in which the passageway area of the movable flow passageway is partially narrowed to constrict the volume of flow. The flow passageway includes a constricted flow passageway (F22) which is a flow passageway due to the constricted portion, and a separate flow passageway (F27s) which is a passageway for flowing fuel independently from the constricted flow passageway and which is formed between the movable structure and the body. The passageway area of the separate flow passageway is smaller than the passageway area of the constricted flow passageway. The position of the separate flow passageway in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the movable structure moves differs from an outer-most peripheral position of the movable core.
